The Lebron James documentary, More Than A Game is quietly getting rave reviews and took home the first runner-up spot to Boyle’s film for the People’s Choice Award. The rock god arrived in Toronto - Jimmy Page is officially at TIFF’08 - but don’t expect any autographs
Posted by ShoVine editor - 05/09/08 at 08:09:47 amSure some of the names at the 2008 Toronto International Film Festival are hugely talked about stars - Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway. But if you speak to the die-hard autograph collectors and paparazzi there really is only one name at TIFF this year that has the town buzzing - and that’s the arrival of Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page in support of his documentary, ‘It Might Get Loud’. Page arrived on Thursday afternoon and was met at Toronto Pearson airport by autograph collectors and some in-the-know photographers. Mr. Page explained to the professional autograph collectors why he won’t be signing any memorabilia on this trip through Toronto. Ok, but will Page, join fellow co-stars The Edge and Jack White and jam at the after party?
